Chianti is synonymous of excellent wine around the world, produced in the homonym region between Florence and Siena. Among the charming villages set here, Greve, Castellina, Panzano, Radda and Gaiole are considered the main destinations.
If we had to pick one as the Capital of Chianti, it would be Castellina, which is the oldest among them. The charming cobble stone streets, tranquil pace, picturesque views and amazing wine tastings are few of the reasons why Castellina is not to be missed. And do not forget to explore Via delle Volte, an underground tunnel that runs across the town, a refreshing place to escape from the summer sun while still visiting many shops, artisans and restaurants.
Less than a 15-minute drive from Castellina, Amarika, a newly restored and restyled beautiful property is ready to welcome you while you and your loved ones experience a true Tuscan escape.

Famous for its art and architecture, Florence is an obligatory destination for the first-timer visitor of Italy. However, while exploring the historical center is something that cannot be missed, the pristine studded landscapes and the enchanted medieval villages set on the famous Tuscan rolling hills surrounding Florence are well worth a visit.
The most famous area to explore is the Chianti, a blessed land that covers a rather large wine-producing region of Tuscany, reaching from Florence to Siena, and all the way out to Pisa. Chianti's must see sights are the wine villages of Castellina, Radda and Gaiole. Along the road visit the Badia di Coltibuono and/or Castello di Brolio and do not forget to pick up some wine to enjoy at the villa!
