Our wonderful day begins by driving through the beautiful Tuscan countryside comfortably seated in a luxury vehicle with English-speaking driver. The first visit will be to a leading-edge winery where we will taste a superb Brunello wine and sample the full flavored extra virgin olive oil produced by the estate. Here we will be escorted through the winery’s grounds and its historic cellars. Afterwards, proceed to the enchanting medieval hill town of Montalcino where we will enjoy lunch in a typical Tuscan restaurant. You will have free time to explore the town your own. Later in the afternoon we will a visit another top-selected Brunello winery where we will be educated further about this excellent wine. Before returning to the villa, we may add a stop for a visit – if time allows – to Sant’Antimo Abbey, a beautiful Romanesque church, located in a picture-perfect setting, where we may have a chance to hear the monks performing their Gregorian chants.

Few of the must-see places in Tuscany are combined in this impressive experience: San Gimignano, famous for his skyline, the Chianti area, worldly renowned for its wine, and the Medieval town of Siena, well-known for its Palio horse race. We start with a visit of San Gimignano, a magnificent example of Medieval urban center that is a UNESCO world heritage site. Afterwards we continue to explore the Chianti Classico area, with stop by a local selected winery where you will visit the cellars and vineyards and taste the wine produced. Here will enjoy a delicious Tuscan lunch consisting of typical food such as pasta, cold meats, local cheeses and pastries – a vegetable menu is also available upon request. After lunch, proceed to Siena where we will appreciate the architectural styles of the Cathedral and of the Town Hall in the Piazza del Campo, scenery of the world famous Palio race. Time at leisure for a stroll in the city historical center.

Cinque Terre

Enjoy an unforgettable experience discovering this area, declared World Heritage by UNESCO, where five different towns, so close to one another that you can walk from the first to the fifth in a matter of hours, show their own personality. The picturesque area consists of eighteen kilometers of rocky coasts made of caves, beaches and paths with breathtaking landscapes where the primary attraction of the area is the hike along the cliffs from village to village. The tour in 5 Terre will continue by boat (weather permitting) and by train. We will visit the fishing villages of Manarola, Vernazza, Riomaggiore, Corniglia, and Monterosso. Here a delicious three-course fish-based lunch (optional) will be served in a typical restaurant perched on a cliff with a beautiful view of the bay. Afterwards we will taste the local ‘limoncino ligure’ in a typical wine shop in the city center. The limoncino ligure is made from lemons from the Riviera (from Varazze to Andora). The recipe of this “nectar of lemons” is dating back to the nineteenth century while the more famous ‘limoncello d’Amalfi’ uses the lemons from the land from Sorrento to Amalfi and the recipe is slightly more recent. In the afternoon we will have free time to swim or to leisurely stroll in the village, known as “the pearl of 5 Terre”.
